Riverwatch Map

The Riverwatch Map is a useful tool in understanding the Bonnechere Watershed. On this map you will find the boundary of the watershed (outlined in red) as well as the locations of the benthic macroinvertebrate stream assessment sites that were visited by the RiverWatch team in over 2009 and 2010. Click on a marker to find out more information about a particular stream assessment, or zoom in to get a closer view of the area.

Standard google map overlays (terrain, map, satellite and hybrid) can be chosen from the pulldown menu at the top right of the screen, and various GIS information layers can be selected using the checkboxes on the left. At the top centre of the page, creek sites are listed by name and can be chosen to locate the site and provide more information. Below the map you will find a spreadsheet that provides an overview of all stream assessment sites.

Thank you for joining us on our journey of discovery in the Bonnechere River Watershed.
