Renfrew County Stewardship Forums

The Bonnechere River Watershed Project partners with the Ottawa River Institute and Sustainable Eastern Ontario to develop and present annual Renfrew County Stewardship Forums. The forums began in 2012 and create a venue for discussing stewardship issues with municipal government, organizations, groups and concerned and interested Renfrew County residents.

At the 2019 Renfrew County Stewardship Forum, there was consensus that there was a need to look at alternative organizational approaches to freshwater issues, stewardship and watershed planning.
